Tacking Iron
This special tool, referred to as a Tacking Iron, is primarily used for tacking dry mounting tissue to the back of a print and then to a substrate. The tacking process keeps work from shifting prior to insertion into the press. The Tacking Iron is thermostatically adjustable. We suggest using a test piece of release paper and dry mount tissue as well as a test image prior to set the appropriate temperature.
